Pitch up at palace on tour

-

Budding entrepreneurs from the north and north-east have a chance to pitch their business ideas in front of the Duke of York.

Established by Prince Andrew in 2014, the Pitch@Palace scheme has already helped more than 400 UK businesses to grow, with some now enjoying global success.

Aberdeen has been chosen to host the only Scottish event of Pitch@ Palace On Tour.

Participants will be vying for one of 42 places available UKwide for a boot camp and a chance to pitch directly to an influential audience from the worlds of entrepreneurship, technology, media and investment during an event at St James’s Palace

“Aberdeen has been chosen to host the only Scots event”

Invited guests at the Aberdeen event will hear from up to 15 local start-ups, all hoping to progress to the next round of the competition. The deadline for entries is tomorrow.

The theme for this year’s Pitch@Palace is “the future of mobility and materials”.

Those chosen for boot camp will receive support and advice on how to develop and hone their pitch, as well as support with investment, introductions and strategic guidance.

Pitch@Palace Global is holding events this year in countries including China, Singapore, Australia, the United Arab Emirates and Mexico.
