Remains: Expert investigator

Professor Dame Sue Black, who will be carrying out the investigation into the remains at Wardlaw Mausoleum, was born in Inverness.

She is the director of the Centre for Anatomy and Human Identification at the University of Dundee, a professor of anatomy and forensic anthropology and is also an expert forensic practitioner.

Professor Black said: “We will look at the age at death, we will assess height and we will look for disease and pathology in the remains.”
