Doors open Days in aberDeenshire

• Various fascinating venues across Aberdeenshire open for public view this weekend Doors Open Days give you a rare opportunity to see what goes on in dozens of interesting buildings across Scotland and this weekend it is Aberdeenshire’s turn. Today, the focus is on Kincardine and Mearns and Lower Deeside, and among the many properties open to view are Deeside Brewery; Stonehaven’s Tolbooth Museum, clock tower, fire station and RNLI base; Tod Head Lighthouse at Kinneff, and Mill of Benholm. Tomorrow, the focus shifts to Banff, Portsoy and Fraserburgh with properties open including Magie’s Hoosie at Inverallochy; Fraserburgh Lighthouse; Sandhaven Meal Mill; Banff ’s Duff House Mausoleum, Portsoy Boat Shed and Delgatie Castle at Turriff. Admission is free to all Doors Open properties over the weekend.
