Woman admits hotel fracas
Former Highlands and islands film commissioner Trish Shorthouse yesterday admitted causing a disturbance in an Inverness hotel.
The 55-year-old, now living in Shakespeare Close, Torquay, pleaded guilty at Inverness Sheriff Court to behaving in a threatening and abusive manner and shouting and swearing in the Beaufort Hotel, Culduthel Road, on June 21.
Sheriff Gordon Fleetwood was told that Shorthouse was on a community payback order. He deferred sentence until December 7 for a background report.
