Three charged after crash on A9

Three north women have been charged with attempted murder after a crash in Ross-shire.

A blue Peugeot 307 and a white Ford Transit van collided on the A9 near the Evanton overpass in Easter Ross about 1.15pm on Sunday. Nobody was seriously injured.

Yesterday, Agnes Stewart, 21, of Invergordon, Mary Stewart, 46, of Conon Bridge, and Lauren MacArthur, 23, of Invergordon, appeared in private at Tain Sheriff Court. They made no plea and were bailed.
