Skiers flock forearly season tickets
Snowsports enthusiasts have snapped up earlybird passes for the 2018/19 season at the CairnGorm Mountain in record time.
Ticket sales have almost quadrupled compared to figures recorded in 2016, with the number of season tickets sold this year already exceeding 2017 figures.
Jan e tt e Ja n s s o n , general manager at CairnGorm Mountain, said: “We are absolutely delighted that consumer confidence in CairnGorm Mountain is so high.
“We had a great season with snowsports enthusiasts enjoying some fantastic conditions from the end of 2017, right through until the end of April this year.

that so many people have already purchased season tickets in anticipation of the coming winter season. We operate an early bird system and it really does save people money if they purchase season tickets before the end of the summer.”
The ski centre is exploring technological with a new website commissioned on the back of a successful CairnGorm Mountain mobile app, which promises improved functionality.
Ja n e t t e Ja n s s o n said: “We are looking forward to launching our new website, which is undergoing thorough testing at the moment.
“The website will be much more user-friendly and the ability to book in advance and print tickets at the Day Lodge and base station should also mean that visitors can get out on the slopes much quicker.”
Prices of season passes sit at £275 for adults, with the price increasing by £25 each month.
