Court: Businessman threatened to humiliate her when she was just 17 – so she tried to blackmail him
A businessman caught in a blackmail sting had threatened to “humiliate” a teenager using naked pictures, a court heard yesterday.
Aisling Ironside met the man – who went to the high court to secure his anonymity – on a “sugar daddies” website when she was just 17.But although Dundee Sheriff Court heard there was “no intimacy” between the pair, Mr A took photos of her – which he later threatened to humiliate her with if she “didn’t meet his requirements”.
Ironside, however, de- manded money in turn, saying she would expose their illicit relationship if it was not paid.

£1,200 to decorate a new home among other payments.
He gave her £550 before police.

of Nellfield Place, Aberdeen, pleaded guilty to charge of extortion committed betweeen November 25-29, 2016.
The court heard the pair had met online, through a website that advertises itself as a “new way for relationships to form and grow.”
Defence solicitor Alex Burn told the court: “She had gone to this website simply for friendship and met with him in various places such as Stonehaven and Dundee.
“She was 17 at the time and during one of the meetings he had taken photos breasts.
“He threatened that if she did not meet certain requirements he would show this with a view to clearly humiliating her.
“She engaged in this idiotic plan to get money from him.
“She was young, naive, and she was taken advantage of to some extent.”
Sheriff Alastair Carmichael fined Ironside £550 and said: “This all happened a long time ago and I’m told things have changed since then for you.” of her naked
