Joblosses at Wabtec Doncaster
UPTO450jobs could be lost at Wabtec'sDoncaster siteasa resultof more operatorsbuying new trainsand fewer operators opting for refurbishment of trains.

Thecompanyhas entereda 45-day consultationperiodwith employeerepresentatives and trade unionsabout the needto slim its workforce aswell asintroducing revisedworking practices.
Thejobs areexpectedto be lost betweenquarter threethis yearand the first quarterof 2021.
