April 1,2023.Therehasbeen a long-standingcampaignledby the RMTunionto banrawsewage dischargeonto the tracksbecause of the healthriskto trackworkers.

Rivierarakeshavebeenmoved from NemesisBurtonto the DB CargoKnottingleydepot,where preliminarywork hasnow started.
Thiswill amountto detailed surveyworkto producethe drawingsfor the tanks,alongwith finalspecificationassa precursor to beginthe actualCETfitment programmefrom latesummer.DB Knottingleyisthe fitment centre, in a partnershipwith DBCargo.
Fundingfor the projectwill comefrom NetworkRailunder NetworkChange.
