Price is right for football

- PETER JACKSON

FOOTBALL has been all the rage in Wales this summer for obvious reasons and while the two codes tend to have mutually exclusive followings, Welsh rugby ought to be careful. Those fans floating between the two will be interested in the comparative ticket prices for the coming season.

The footballers play the first of their World Cup qualifiers at the Cardiff City stadium in September, against Moldova.

A family of four can see that match plus the four other home qualifiers against Georgia, Serbia, Austria and the Republic of Ireland for £280, or £56 per match.

Watching the rugby team against Australia at the Principality Stadium at the start of the autumn series on November 5 will cost the same family of four £200.
