USA should be flying

WHEN it comes to pure athletic talent the USA surely hold the whip hand going into Rio with sprinter Carlin Isles on their roster.

That was reinforced this week by the inclusion of Nate Ebner, the new England Patriots Super Bowl-winning safety, in their squad.

The Patriots celebrated coach, Bill Belichick, has said of the 27-year-old Ebner: “I would probably put him in the top five per cent of all time players that I’ve coached from where they were in college to how they grew in the NFL.”
