Worcester must improve for Sarries
DONNCHA O'Callaghan has called for improvement from his teammates after they were outdone by Munster on Friday night.
Four first-half tries saw the Irish province hold a 31-0 lead at the break before both sides ran in three tries apiece in the second-half in an entertaining game at Irish Independent Park.
The Warriors will kick off their Premiership campaign next week against champions Saracens.
He said: "We need to step up as we have a massive challenge next week. Phil Dowson spoke brilliantly after the match and it's about character now in the squad.
"We need to find something deep inside from a players' point of view because we haven't been able to reflect the work the coaches have put in.”
Munster opened their account from a stolen lineout as tighthead James Cronin went over and after the conversion and a penalty from Tyler Bleyendaal they were up 10-0.
Val Rapava Ruskin was sent to the bin for pulling down the maul which resulted in a penalty try and soon after Simon Zebo went over.
The Irish international then sent Darren Sweetnam over for a sublime Munster try and Bleyendaal maintained his 100 per cent record with the boot, adding another conversion.
Ronan O'Mahony battled his way over for Munster's fifth try but Warriors then finally got off the through Josh Adams
Cian Bohane dotted down for another Munster score but Warriors replied immediately as Lamb again provided GJ Van Velze to dive over out wide.
An interception try from Ian Keatley completed the rout even if Perry Humphreys scored late on for Worcester.
