LYMM move to the top of the table despite going down 30-28 away at

Sandal, their two bonus bonus points edging them just above Morley who also lost.

Sandal only took the game from the last play with a try from Rob Norbury, the conversion by Greg Wood proving to be the winner. Sandal also crossed for tries through Simon Frewin, Tom Allott and Steve Nolson with Wood also adding another conversion and two penalties. Ollie Higginson, Jack Ashall, Adam Bray and Richard McEvoy were the tryscorers for Lymm with McEvoy also landing two penalties and a conversion.

Morley are now in second after failing to get the losing bonus point in a 42-24 loss at Cleckheato­n. Mike Haywood and Tom Austin crossed for two apiece with Neil Chivers and Richard Piper each with one. Ronan Evans was successful with two conversion­s and a penalty. Richard Knowles, Harrison Bayliss with two and Karl Bradshaw were the Morley tryscorers with Mark Chesters landing two conversion­s.

Billingham hammered Waterloo 99-7 crossing for 15 tries, with Adam Radwan and Tom Briggs claiming hattricks. Jack Weir went over for the sole Waterloo effort converted by Liam Reeve. Ilkley got the better of Hull 31-8 at Stacks Field. John Johnson, Martyn Mitchell Will Davies and Ben McGee were the home tryscorers, all converted by Joe Rowntree to add to an early penalty. Doncaster Pheonix lost 10-32 at home to

Wirral. Dan Harvey crossed for two for the visitors, with Rob Pearl and Brian Brockhusrt scoring one each. James Annetts added two conversion­s and two penalties. Will Burden and Joe Lowcock were tryscorers for the home side.

Kendal lost 5-27 at home to Huddersfie­ld. Adam Malthouse, Austin Thompson and Elliott Hodson were the Huddersfie­ld tryscorers, all converted by Chris Bell to add to two first-half penalties. Joe Hambly went in for Kendal’s only try.

Rossendale ran in nine tries in beating Stockport 57-3 at Marl Pitts, including a hat-trick for Curtis Strong.
