PENALLTA closed the gap on leaders Rhydyfelin with a 40-13 win away to

Risca in the East Division. Tries from Ross Morgan, Gregg Haines, Zak Cusack, Lewis Barnett and a brace for Ryan Davies ensured that they move just one point behind the table-toppers whose match with

Nantyglo had been postponed.

Caerleon swept Brecon aside 30-19 in a mid-table clash.

In the North Division, Gwion Ellis-Jones and Arthur Lennon scored a brace of tries each to help

Nant Conwy to a 55-5 win away to strugglers Ruthin.

There were also tries from Iolo Evans, Cai Jones, Robyn Glyn and Delwyn Jones, who also finished the match with 17 points to his name.

Meanwhile, Caernarfon moved closer to the top of the league with a 37-17 win away to Colwyn Bay while

COBRA picked up just their second win of the season in a 35-7 victory over Bethesda. West Division leaders

Kidwelly ran out 16-8 winners at Felinfoel.

Tries from Callum Price and Shaun Pearce secured the win to keep them ahead of second-placed Llanelli Wanderers, who overcame Penclawdd 33-24 Trebanos kept the pressure on leaders Aberavon Quins with a 22-17 win over

Bonymaen in the West Central Division.

Tries from Alun Dew, Declan Bale and Luke Griffiths ensured they moved closer to the top after Aberavon’s clash with Bridgend was postponed.

Maesteg were convincing 48-21 winners over

Cwmmllynfe­ll while Ammanford overcame Builth Wells 38-24. In the East Central Division, tries from Alex Green and Tristan Lazarus helped leaders Treorchy edge out Rhiwbina 17-14. Dowlais beat Llantwit Fardre 38-7 to keep the pressure on the leaders while Llanharan ran out 31-26 winners over Cardiff Quins.
