Huddersfie­ld underline title ambitions

THE top-of- the-table clash went the way of the league leaders Huddersfie­ld who beat Rossendale 22-5.

The visitors held a narrow 5-3 lead at the interval through a push over try from Dominic Moon to a penalty from Chris Bell.

In the second period the extra pace and power of the Yorkshire outfit began to tell as a tiring Rossendale conceded two quick penalties to Bell, who also slotted a dropgoal before a try from Lewis Workman sealed the match.
