Amersham sunk as Juddians march on

TONBRIDGE Juddians still hold pole position following a 28-7 win at home to Dorking.
Michael McBeath, George Lawson, Murray Galbraith-Lowe and Stephen Nell were the tryscorers with Liam Prescott slotting one conversion and two penalties.
Tom Hunt crossed for Dorking, Matt Noble on hand with the conversion. Second place Wimbledon were 45-25 winners against Chichester. Roy Godfrey leading the way with a hat-trick with Jack Revelle, Gary Crow and Bryan Croke over for one each – Croke also successful with six conversions and a penalty.
Hertford drew level on points with Westcombe
Park in third after beating them 45-13 at Highfields, running in a total of seven tries and five conversions.
Guernsey eased their way past bottom-of-thetable
Amersham and
Chiltern, beating the Ash Grove outfit 51-12 through tries from Cameron Craine, Lewis Hillier, Tom Ceillam, Dale Martin, Owen Thomas, Malcolm Barnes, Adam Nixon and Ned Brown – Thomas slotting a penalty and a conversion and Ken Hellier two. The home side crossed for a converted try to add to one in the opening half.
Guildford were 33-20 winners at home to
Colchester with Damian
Brambley going over for the visitors, who also forced a penalty try – both converted by James Crozier to add to two early penalties.
Shelford travelled to Westcliff and won 50-12 with Tuli Paea getting a hat-trick, Mark Ryder also crossed for two with Simon Hrbek, Ali Lea and Josh Simmons adding a further three – Simmons also knocking over five conversions.
In the final game of the round Southend Saxons
were 45-12 winners over Sutton and Epsom.
Danny Clare went in for a hat-trick and Bert Radzevicius grabbed two, with a penalty try bringing up the sixth.
All were converted by Brad Burr, who also slotted a penalty.
The visitors managed to get Theo Skoumbourdis and James Faa’atuatu over with Steve Munford kicking one conversion.
The weekend’s action leaves Wimbledon within five points of Tonbridge.
