He has spoken to a number of players and is particularly keen on bringing over some Tongans who he worked with before linking up with Tigers. ■NEWCASTLE Falcons are continuing to strengthen their squad for next season by signing up England U20 prop Jack Stanley.

Stanley who came up through the ranks at Exeter Chiefs, has agreed a one-year deal to move to Kingston Park at the end of the season.

Meanwhile, Bristol have made a move to sign highly rated England U20 fly-half Matt Protheroe from Gloucester.

It will be a blow for the Cherry and Whites as the Swansea-born wonder kid is seen as one of the brightest talents in the game.
