AS EXPECTED Tonbridge

Juddians ended their campaign as champions and will complete in National Two South next season but they had to come from a half-time 15-10 deficit before eventually overcoming Southend Saxons 29-41 at Warners Bridge Park.

Murray Galbraith-Lowe led the way for the visitors with a hat-trick, Ryan Fuller crossed for two, with Tom Nicholl in for one. Fuller also managed four conversion­s, with Ryan Redmond successful with a penalty. For the Saxons Chris Shields bagged two tries with Marcus Bloomberg and Brad Burr over for one each.
