Titans run amok with host of tries

- ■ By KEITH BROOKING

TITANS put in a great performance to claim an emphatic win.

They started with a bang as flanker Ratu Vakalutukali forced his way over. Gary Kingdom added the extras.

From the kick-off the ball went the length of the field and hooker Andy Hamilton, making his first start, plunged over.

Kingdom then crossed before the Raiders got on the score sheet with a try by fly-half Mathew Mclean, who converted.

That was as close as they came as Titans ran in another ten tries.

Vakalutukali went in for his second, before Tom Popham and Freddie Fraser both dotted down. Then, on the stroke of half-time, Vakalutukali scored his third. Kingdom converted one.

The second half was much the same as Kingdom went over for his second try, before the Raiders and Mclean scored their second converted try.

Popham scored his second before winger Ollie Rice got on the score sheet. Another player to score a double was Hamilton, before the referee awarded Taunton a penalty try as the scrum was rumbling over the line.

The Titans had the final word on the whistle as Dan Frost went over in the corner. Kingdom converted from the touch line to take his tally for the day to 24 points.
