STILL unbeaten Lymm continue to top the table following a 40-0 win at home to Birkenhead Park. Lucas Titheringt­on and Richard McEvoy led the charge with two tries apiece. Ali Southerlan­d and Joe Watson also crossed and Cormack Nolan was successful with five conversion­s. Preston Grasshoppe­rs hold on in second spot, edging it 27-26 over Kirkby

Lonsdale at Lightfoot Green. Stuart Story scored the only try for the Cumbrian side, who also forced a penalty try plus a penalty from Ryan Terry.

Harrogate were 25-8 winners over Kendal through tries from Luke Edwards, Martin Dodds, Ollie Rosillo and Connor Ward, with Luke White landing a conversion and a penalty. Rossendale took maximum points 29-38 at Pocklingto­n. George Wagstaff, Jed Jackson, Billy Hardy and James Flint crossed for the home side, with Dan Elliott kicking three conversion­s and a penalty. For Rossendale, Jack Wilkinson, Lewis Allen, Ryan McKibbin and Steve Nutt (2) were the try scorers, all converted by Allen who also slotted a penalty.

Morley were hammered 0-47 by Hull at Scratcherd Lane. Steve Hihata, with a hat-trick, was the star, with other tries coming from Mike Adlard, Joe Stafford, Joey Martin and Rhys Dean, who also added six conversion­s

Sandal did themselves a power of good with a 37-14 victory at home to Ilkley.

Stephen Nolson crossed for two, with James Ellar and Tom Baxter over for one each. All the tries were converted by Greg Wood, who also added two late penalties to one in the opening half. For Ilkley, Josh Hall and Blake Morgan went in for tries both converted by Charles Morgan.

Billingham took maximum points 37-28 at home to Wirral, with three unanswered tries straddling the interval doing the damage.

Martin Hopley, Joe Evans, Dan Finnet and Luke Wilson were first-half try scorers, with Finney slotting one conversion against tries for Wirral from James Reeve and Mark Gidman, converted by James Annetts. Elliott Husband and Dan Dixon (2) added to the total with Craig Harvey and Matt Dalton over for the visitors.
