Harrison seals the deal for Moseley with four

THE BATTLE ended with only five points between the sides as Moseley came out on top with an inspirational display from Mark Harrison.

Esher made a positive start, with fly-half Paul Roberts slotting a penalty in the first two minutes and winger Thomas James touching down in the corner after a miss pass.

The contest between opposing wingers was an intriguing one as Moseley’s Harrison struck back on the same wing to open his side’s scoring.

After a spell of constant pressure Ollie Allsopp added a second, which Andrew Fluker converted.

Esher responded well, with Cameron Leigh touching down, but Moseley were again clinical and span the ball out wide for Harrison to get his second down the left to keep the scoreline tight.

Again, Esher refused to let the game slip and took the lead just before halftime with a try from Christopher Arnold, converted by Roberts.

The intensity increased in the second half as Harrison completed his hat-trick to put his side back into the lead after 45 minutes.

The back and forth continued and Arnold got a second under the posts, Roberts once more converting to put Esher ahead again.

But it was the visitors who had the last laugh, with Ciaran Moore crossing just before the hour to level, before Harrison’s fourth wrapped up the points for Moseley.
