Pariyo’s brilliant four-timer puts heat on Ystrad

SWALEC Division One round-up

GLAMORGAN Wanderers enjoyed a dominant 69-0 victory over basement boys Rumney in One East Central.

Philip Pariyo went over four times while Mike Owen bagged a hat-trick. Cameron Gibbons was at the double and Joe Russell and Myles Churcher added further tries.

But Ystrad Rhondda kept their place at the top with a 25-6 victory over last year’s champs Treorchy.

Gerwyn Davies bagged a brace with Aaron Clarke and Carl Williams following him over. Two Jordan Lloyd penalties were all the Zebras could muster.

Penallta moved two points clear at the top of One East with a 32-5 victory over Brynmawr.

Tries from Laurence Pritchard, Lewis Alexander, Gareth Edwards, Aeron Bidgood and Maxfield George secured a bonus-point win for the Pitmen.

Nelson were in rampant mood as they thrashed
