WASPS made it four wins in a row with a bonus-point victory over Worcester Valkyries as Amy Atkinson notched four tries.

The visitors scored nine times, four going to Atkinson on the wing having converted from flanker, with Abby Dow, Rocky Clark, Kate Hallett and Rachel Parry also crossing.

The first try came after five minutes for Atkinson and she appeared comfortable in her new position with two more tries inside the opening 20 minutes.

Both came after a wellexecuted lineout and Wasps got the ball into the hands of Atkinson who beat Worcester’s defence.

The Valkyries got a try back through Natalie English but Wasps’ fourth try came from Hallett who, armed with fellow forwards, pushed the ball over the line to put the team 22 points up.

In the final play of the first half, Wasps prop, Clark, squeezed in a fifth for the team after No.8, Nicola Smith picked it from the back of a scrum and broke clear.

Hannah West then found a hole in Worcester defence and made a beeline for the whitewash but was held up on the line.

From the resulting scrum, Smith picked up and passed out to Sammy Wong who tipped onto Parry to score her first try in the Premier 15s.

The next two tries came in quick succession, both to Dow, who found herself in possession of the ball and twice sprinting over the line.

The final try of the game came in the 73rd minute with a strong run and impeccable timing from captain Kate Alder seeing the ball fed wide to Atkinson to score her fourth.
