Scrivens scores 43pts in Penallta rampage

JOSEPH Scrivens struck 43 points in Penallta’s 83-14 victory over Ynysybwl in One East. The fly-half scored four times and added 10 conversions and a penalty.

Leaders Brynmawr claimed maximum points in their 22-5 win at Pontypool United. Damien Hudd went over along with Adam Lane, Josh Congreve and Dan Croft.

Second-placed Brecon were 56-13 winners at Abertillery with Jake Crockett bagging a hat-trick.

Gowerton 42-37. Sam Evans, Sam Crowley, Mark Loughlin and Ben Ley went over with Evans kicking the rest for Dunvant.

But doubles from Gwyn Davies and Jack Solomon, tries from Luke Jones and Gareth John and 12 points from Josh Hamer steered Gowerton to victory.

Glamorgan Wanderers are one point further back after beating Dinas Powys 33-22. Rob Lewis, Miles Churcher, Will Adams Jones, Cameron Gibbon and Lee Highate helped earn the bonus point for Wanderers.
