Pariyo’s hat-trick helps put Wanderers on the top

GLAMORGAN Wanderers rose to the top of One East Central after they thumped Llanharan 62-5.

Phil Pariyo stole the spotlight as he claimed a hat-trick and Josh Male crashed over twice.

Also on the scoresheet were Lee Highgate, Josh Sheehan, James Loxton, Cameron Gibbon and Tom Perry Ellis with Luke Fish kicking six conversion­s.

The Wanderers are now four points ahead of Ystrad

Gowerton are the new leaders in One West after beating Llangennec­h 25-17.

Josh Hamer won the game almost single handedly with a hat-trick of tries as well as a conversion and a penalty. Lloyd Dudley-Jones also went over to give Gowerton the bonus point and move them three points ahead of Felinfoel, who have five games in hand.

Bala moved level on points with One North champions Pwllheli, in second, after a simple 40-21 victory over Llangefni.

Arfon Rowlands, Iwan Rowlands, Illan Jones, Owain Pugh, Millet Roberts and Owain Aled all went over to guide Bala to a thumping win.

Brecon closed the gap on One East leaders Brynmawr to six points, albeit having played two games more. Iwan Williams, Mark Squirrel and Joe Evans all went over to help Brecon beat Ynysybwl 22-17.
