What a Week for hat-trick hero

- By NICK BURT

ROBBIE Weeks scored a hat-trick as Plymouth Albion cut loose in an emphatic victory against Rosslyn Park.

An early intercept started the scoring on four minutes when Herbie Stupple gathered the ball and fed centre Dean Squire, making his 50th appear- ance for the club, to score.

A fine break in midfield enabled Matt Shepherd to kick ahead and the ball was re-gathered allowing Harrison Cully to score.

Rosslyn Park’s impressive Ben Marfo broke down the left wing and fed centre Huw Morgan, who raced away for the visitor’s first.

Marfo was again involved on 38 minutes when he started a move for Charlie Amesbury to score.

But with the last play of the half, Plymouth right winger Jordan Gott skipped through some weak tackling to extend their lead.

Four minutes into the second half, Stupple, the Albion No.8, made another clean break resulting in Gott scoring.

Gott was once again involved six minutes later when his pass enabled Weeks to score the first of his three tries.

A driving maul on the Park five-metre line saw hooker Jamie Salter increase that lead before Matt Shepherd chipped ahead and dotted down.

In the last ten minutes Weeks found the tryline twice more to complete his hat-trick and finish off a comprehensive victory.
