Vale of Lune 97-0. Steve Hiheta was the star with five, followed by Mike Adlard with four Tom O'Donnell and Alex Heard got two with Keane Taylor and Steve Johnson over for one each - Simon Humberston­e was successful with eleven

conversion­s.

Billingham move into second following a 24-22 win at home to Blaydon but it took a try from the final play of the game to secure the points.

Elliot Husband, Joe Evans, Luke Wilson and Sean Richardson were the home try scorers, with Peter Evans landing two conversion­s.

Nathan Bailey (two) and Jack Appleton crossed for the visitors, with Jamie Guy slotting two conversion­s and a penalty.

Harrogate kept up with the chase with their 38-0 win over Kendal. Sam Brady crossed for two, followed by Ollie Rosillo, Danny Matthews, Jonny Crosier and Andy Boyd with one each - Nathan Wyman kicked three conversion­s and Kyle Cookland one.

Alnwick were 23-12 victors at home to Ilkley – Callum Burn and Matthew Holmes were the two tryscorers for the North East side, James Bird contributi­ng two penalties.

John Johnson crossed twice for the visitors, Charles Ramsey successful with one conversion. Tenth place Kirkby

Lonsdale were 17-31 victors away to Lymm. Dave Barton, Harry Ralston, Josh Sheridan and Scott Armstrong were the Cumbrians’ tryscorers, all converted by Mike Fearon – James Kimber and Matty Hand went over for the home side. Rossendale's woe continues, going down 14-8 at home to Wirral - a result that sees the Lancashire side slip down to ninth place in the table.

Matt Blackman was the only try-scorer, with Lewis Allen adding a secondhalf penalty.

Sandal move up a place after seeing off bottom-ofthe-table Wilmslow 43-12 at Milnthorpe Green.

Danny Grainger and Simon Frewin crossed for two tries, with Jack Townend, Dave Martin and Will Morecambe also scoring.
