Rix double keeps Wimbledon at summit

WIMBLEDON still head the table after taking the honours 23-34 away to Sidcup.

Kane Rix bagged a double, with Keiron Morris and Ollie Kitto the other try scorers, all converted by James Moffat who also added a penalty.

The visitors’ scores came from three penalties.

CS Stags edged it in a very close game at Dukes Meadows by 8-7 against Hertford.

Guildford’s Adam Bellamy and Matthew Coole went over, with Ieuan Jones adding a conversion and three penalties.

In the final game of the round, a late kick off due to flight delays, Guernsey consolidat­ed their third spot after beating London Irish Wild Geese 3-20 at Hazelwood.
