Eight-try Wimbledon looking full value
STILL unbeaten, Wimbledon maintain their lead at the top of the table following a 52-7 win at home to Guildford.
They crossed for eight tries, two from Chris York and one apiece for Josh Forester, Jack Flanagan, Alex Campbell, Josh Bayford, Dave Wayman and Jack Reville.
James Moffat was successful with six conversions.
Joe Garner crossed for
the visitors, a score converted by Ieuan Jones. Rochford Hundred
lead the chasing pack, having beaten London Irish Wild Geese 26-0 at
Magnolia Road.
Michael Guess went in for two, with Ian Meads and Aston Bevins-Royston claiming one each.
Chris Dudman landed three conversions.
Third-placed Guernsey slip back a touch, failing to take a bonus point from their 10-17 win away to Sevenoaks.
Anthony Armstrong crossed for two with Chris Ahne the other try scorer and Owen Thomas additionally slotting one conversion.
The Sevenoaks try was scored by Richard AdenyJones, converted by Tom Grey, to add to an earlier penalty.
Bedford eased their worries with a battling 2010 victory at home to bottom of the table Brighton.
Steve Smith and Josh Cassell were the try scorers for the home side, both converted by Leo Mortimer,
who also kicked two penalties. Sidcup got the better of Dorking 23-11 at Crescent Farm. Joe Thomas and Lewis Anderson were try scorers for the home side, both converted by Josh Twyford, who also landed three penalties.
Tom Hunt was the sole try scorer for Dorking, with Cameron Pimlow adding two penalties.
Hertford ran out 14-9 winners away at Tring,
Charlie Parkhouse was the try scorer for the visitors, with Kyle Lemon knocking over three penalties.
Jake Holley, with three penalties, was the only scorer for the home side.
