PONTYPOOL continued their flawless start with a 47-13 win at Cardiff Met.
Jordan Thomas and Kieran Meek ran in firsthalf tries, with two Meek conversions giving them a 14-13 half-time lead.
But five second-half tries secured an eighth bonus point victory out of eight for the champions.
Owain Leonard, Thomas again, Lloyd Lewis (2) and Adam Stratton all dotted down, with Meek adding the extras to four of them.
The win maintains Pooler’s three-point lead over also unbeaten Bargoed, whose 42 unanswered second-half points earned a 52-6 home win over Narberth. Ronny Kynes and Duane Dyer were both at the double for Bargoed, with James Leadbeater, Adam Powell and Matthew Thomas their other try scorers.
Steffan Jones kicked five conversions and a penalty, while Josh Prosser added the other two conversions.
Nick Gale kicked the points for Narberth – who trailed 10-6 at the break.
Bedwas, who have two games in hand on the top two, got the better of Tata
Steel 44-20 to make it six wins out of six.
Tries by Alec Jones, Jonathan Armitage, James Richards, Mike Dacey and Matthew Bovington secured maximum points. Dion McIntosh added five conversions and three penalties.

The Wands were 12-0 to the good at half-time thanks to two tries from Cameron Gibbon, one of which was converted by Paul Short.
Josh Ferriman and Richard Brunton replied for Trebanos. Maesteg Quins edged Ystrad Rhondda 23-20. Kieron Watkins and Cameron Jones tries plus 13 points from Tadhg McGuckin secured the win.
Ben Warren and Cody Baker led the way as Beddau beat Ystalyfera 24-17.
