Jonathan Woodrow: Sponge man and younger brother of club captain Tim worked as a delivery driver and retired in the Exeter area.
Tony Lee: A former Exeter captain, Devon rep on the RFU council, had a printing business in Exeter and was a director until shortly before his death in December 2003.
Tracey Turner: The fixture secretary was the managing director of South West Refrigeration and a director of the company that ran the County Ground, Exeter.
Bob Hitchings: Back row from the Cullompton area but has lost touch with his former teammates.
John Lockyer: Hooker who had England trials worked as a training officer for Sifam Tinsley in Torquay and is a match summariser with BBC Radio Devon.
Peter Winterbottom: England and Lions flanker played for the club when a student at SealHayne College before playing for Harlequins and working as a broker in the City of London.
Simon Day: Flanker who captained Devon. Headmaster of Wolborough Hill School in Newton Abbot before becoming principal of a school in Auckland, New Zealand.
Phil Loder: A centre worked in the family plumbing business with his father Basil before setting up a plumbing and heating firm in Newton Abbott.
Steve Webber: Back row who worked in the family butchers in Whimple just outside Exeter.
Mike Cathery: Devon County No.8 who was a PE teacher at Hele’s School, which later became known as St Peter’s High School.
Steve Collier: Back row who was educated at Tiverton Grammar School and worked for National Westminster Bank in the Exeter area.
Steve Lewis: Flanker who captained Sidmouth was a teacher at Sidmouth Community College, then worked in financial management.
Trevor Harris: The tighthead prop came through the ranks with Exeter. A school caretaker, he now runs a property and house maintenance business and coaches at Paignton rugby club.
John Hoskins: Winger who played for Devon, a teacher who became a university lecturer in business and economics at the University of Exeter.
Chris Mills: Loosehead prop who played for Devon and had an England trial, was a landscape gardener in the Exeter area until retiring.
Sidney Waller: Exeter full-back who was a policeman, became club treasurer and president of the Devon RFU; he died in August 1990.
Ralph Petherick: A former player who was the teams’ secretary was killed in a road accident on the M5. Worked for the Potato Marketing Board.

Nigel King: Full-back who took over from Bob Staddon is an Exmouth native and still works as a carpenter in the local area.
Peter Full: Winger who has been a Teignmouth Shell fisherman for many years and is friends with the Simmonds family.
Steve Williams: Swansea-born winger moved to Exeter to study at university became a chartered accountant and is managing director of Sheppard Rockey and Williams.
Paul Baxter: Tighthead prop who captained Devon was a teacher; became headmaster of the Duchy School Bradninch, and worked as an Ofsted inspector. Uncle of Chiefs boss Rob.
Phil Tresedar: Centre who captained Exeter and Devon, played for Rosslyn Park while a teacher in London. Came back to Devon to teach and joined Exeter.
Philip Paul: President who played on the wing for Exeter before World War Two, was a chartered surveyor who died in April 2003.
Tim Woodrow: Second row who captained Exeter and Devon spent 45 years working in the brewery trade and was a director of Palmers Brewery before his retirement. Died Bridport January 2018.
Jack Challenger: Served Exeter as secretary and then chairman had an insurance business in the town. He died in August 1989.
Steve Webb: Wales-born fly-half came to Exeter as a geography student later returned to Wales to become development director of Visit Wales.
Bob Staddon: Devon full-back who was an international trialist is the current Exeter president. Played minor counties cricket and was a teacher at Exeter GS and Hele’s School.
Mike Cook: The former Exeter hooker was secretary at the County Ground and was on the Devon County committee for many years.
Nigel Harris: Devon county winger was a school teacher; moved away from the area to work at Marlborough School.
Myles Collett: Centre was an area sales rep for British Steel for 15 years and then became a tennis coach at Wheatley Hill Tennis Club in Doncaster.

Graham Milford: Devon scrumhalf who had a brother Chris who played for Saracens; had his own engineering business.
Clem Davies: Devon lock came to the club from Worcester, worked for the National Rivers Authority and was then a consultant, now lives in Lympstone.
