Business networking event

The University of Hull is to host a business networking event at its Scarborough campus on September 15.

The university, which is sponsoring this year’s Scarborough Business Awards, runs programmes in Business and Management, International Business, and Business and IT.

The event opens at 3.45pm, talks begin at 4pm and the event closes at 6pm.

There will be inspirational speaker Bianca Miller, finalist of the BBC’s The Apprentice 2014.

Members of the Scarborough business community are invited to attend.

This event is free of charge but places are limited. To book email A.Duffield@hull.ac.uk by September 2.

Associate principal, Dr Katy Graley, said: “We are delighted to be hosting this special event on Scarborough Campus. It will be very inspirational for our students to hear from Bianca and an excellent opportunity for local business people to network and hear more about the business awards.”

The event is part of the week-long “Achieve 2016” event.
