Willis leads home quartet at Escrick

Five members competed in the annual Escrick 10 kilometre road race that was held on a course at Escrick. Owen Willis led the quintet in 48th overall of 583 in 42 minutes 5 seconds which was his best time this year. Neil Scruton was 62nd overall and also the first Over-65 in 43.06 and was followed by Mark May in 117th overall in a personal best time of 46.23. James Drury, who was racing for the first time this year, was 150th in 48.16. Liz Raper was third over-65 in 60.41 and was notably ahead of 137 female runners.
