Green light for Scalby home plan

An eight-bedroom house in Scalby is to be converted into three homes and another built in its grounds, despite opposition from the Village Trust and parish council. Some neighbours objected to the plans for Ryedalefield in Hackness Road, but North York Moors National Park Authority gave approval.
