Rare car drives off for £1,300
At David Duggleby Auctioneers in Scarborough a rare 1920s tinplate car raced away from its estimate to sell for £1,300. The Alfa Romeo clockwork P2 race car was made by French toy company CIJ around 1928. It went under the hammer at the auctioneer’s Antiques and Interiors auction on September 17.
