YCA meeting

Thirteen members, sixteen guests from Sherburn branch and two from Weaverthorpe branch were present at the October meeting of Rillington and District YCA, held in the village hall.

Three members of acapella group Four Quarters entertained with songs old and new and had members singing along with them. Mollie Tindall thanked the group for a very entertaining evening. The Mell Supper followed with members and guests enjoying a delicious buffet. Lorna Mastaglio sold tickets for the raffle.

At the business meeting which followed Margaret Midgley was welcomed back as a member.

A letter of thanks has been received from Scarborough and Ryedale Mountain Rescue in respect of the £40 donation made after their talk at the September meeting.

The October Newsletter had been circulated to all members and several items brought to their notice.
