Planned road closure

Highways England contractor A-one+ have given advance notice of planned road works on the A64 between Rillington and East Knapton.

They are currently planning to start work week commencing Monday October 31 with all works completed by Friday November 25. Three full weekend road closures of the A64 will be required (provisionally November 4-7, 11-14, 18-21) between Pine Tree Avenue and B1258 Malton Road, West Knapton. The A64 will be fully closed from 8pm on Friday to 6am Monday.

Works are also planned to take place on Monday to Thursday nights (8pm-6am) in the period in between these weekend closures and will be completed using traffic signals, convoy vehicles, reduced speed limits and side road closures.
