Group to tour theatre piece
The Fuse Theatre Company is set to create a new theatre piece with a group of disabled young actors. Bontè Humaine, or human kindness, explores what it means to be human and what it is that sets us apart from other living beings. Fuse is a youth theatre project delivered by North Yorkshire County Council’s Connecting Youth Culture and professional theatre artists. It aims to provide opportunities for young people with special educational needs and disabilities and those without, to take part in theatre workshops. Bontè Humaine will be performed at Helmsley Arts Centre on Tuesday, 25 October; York St John University on Wednesday, 26 October; Rural Arts, Thirsk on Thursday, 27 October; the Stephen Joseph Theatre,Friday, 28 Scarborough,October and on Ashville College, Harrogate, on Saturday 29 October.
