Albert Strange Association
Formed in 1978 by Bill James, the Albert Strange Association has a worldwide membership of just 40. The organisation which is dedicated primarily to the study of his yacht designs, aims ‘To trace and preserve the designs and little ships of Albert Strange and to make a permanent record of his life and work’.
The publisher of two books on Strange, a biography authored by John Leather was published in 1990 and an accompanying volume on Strange’s writings on yacht design and sailing by Jamie Clay and Mark Miller.
