Hospitality sector dinner dance
The Scarborough Hospitality Associationhosteditsannual Dinner Dance for the Yorkshire Coast at the Scarborough Spa.
The evening was well attended with more than one hundred guests, including the Mayors and partners of Scarborough, Filey, Bridlington and Whitby, as well as representatives from local businesses and major attractions.
Thenight’sentertainment was provided by Rich Adams and the Streetlight Serenaders.
Sponsored by Bookers Wholesaler, with welcome drinks provided by Lloyd Dowson Accountants and chocolates from Yorkshire Coast College, it was a great night and was thoroughly enjoyed by all who attended.
The tourism award this year was presented to local businessman, entrepreneur and philanthropist Don Robinson.
His support of the hospitality industry in and around the coastal area has included the ‘launch’ of pirate radio ship 270, bringing Little Richard to Bridlington, Flamingoland Zoo and Marineland.
