At Monday’s lunch club residents sat down to a delicious shepherds pie, with tea or coffee and biscuits for afterwards. All cooked and served by Jenny who also provided it. Everyone enjoyed eating and chatting.

On Tuesday members enjoyed an outing to Papa’s fish restaurant for lunch, each one choosing a meal of their choice - two courses and a drink. It was organised by Jenny with residents offering their cars for lifts. Everyone had a lovely lunch, and thanks go to Jenny and the drivers. Also thank you to the pleasant staff at Papa’s.

Bingo on Wednesday was again down in numbers due to illness and the cold weather. Ted was the caller, Vera and Phyl sold the books and raffle tickets. Vera and Ted drew the raffle.

At the coffee and breakfast morning another nice breakfast was served this week. Phyl and (in the absence of Lilian) Darrell stepped in and cooked. It went down well with the residents (a nice morning’s get together). Hutton Buscel Village Hall.

The craft sessions held on the second and fourth Wednesday afternoon in the village hall from 2pm-4pm are well-attended by members.

We were pleased to celebrate the recent marriage of our president Judith to Peter and presented her with a flowering rose tree.

The next meeting will be Tuesday March 7 when it will be a members’ craft display, so why not come along and view all the different types of craft we do. You will be made most welcome.
