Whist drive

A military whist drive held in Cayton Village Hall on Wednesday February 8 raised £30 for the Cayton Over 60s Club funds.

The MC was Bill Calvert and six tables were in play.

Whist winners: 1 Mrs P Johnson, Mrs S Wardle, Mrs V Poole, Mrs M Scott; 2 R Warman, Mr and Mrs P West, T Davies; 3 R Souter, Mrs B Richardson, P Richardson, B Calvert.

The raffle was organised by Trevor and Bob. Winners Mrs B Richardson, T Davies, R Souter, P Richardson, Mrs Johnson, Mrs S Wardle, R Warman, Mrs J West, B Cowton, Mrs V Poole, L Woodhead.

Thanks were expressed by Bill Calvert to Trevor and Bob for running the whist and the raffle, to Mavis and helpers in the kitchen and to everyone who helped with clearing away and their support of the drive.

Bob and Trevor thanked Bill for running the drive.
