St Mary’s
A service of morning worship was held at St Mary’s Church, Cloughton, at 10am on Sunday conducted by reader Mrs Ros O’Toole.
The first reading from Deuteronomy chapter 30 was given by Arleen Ingham, the second from 1 Corinthians chapter 3 by Julie Pratt and the third from St Matthew’s gospel chapter 5 by David Oliver.
The sermon was based on the reading from St Matthew. Intercessions were by David Oliver. Mike Lester and Rosemary and David Oliver provided the music. Coffee was served in the church hall afterwards.
This Sunday Holy Communion (BCP) is at 9.30am led by the Rev Alan Brown; Cafe Refresh at 10.15am the theme being ‘What does Lent mean to you?’.
