Super Shelton leads the way

Ten Scarboroug­h Athletic Club members competed in the latest Dalby Forest Parkrun.

Glen Shelton was the first home for the club in 10th male.

Shelton was followed by Juliette Pilgrim ,who warmed up for a tough multi-terrain race the following day with sixth female placing in a personal best time.

Simon Valente followed in 28th male and third Over-60.

Sally Elwick also achieved a personal best when leading the club females in 10th.

Katie Webster was 21st, Paula Morris 22nd, Alison Hornsby 31st and second Over-50, while Jill Grinstead was 34th and third Over-55.

Jeremy Goodall was 31st male and ahead of Brian Rutt who was 33rd.

Five club members took part in the latest Sewerby Parkrun.

Emma and Warren Foster used the event as a warm up for a multi terrain race the following day.

Emma was the first club member home, finished 14th female overall and the second Over-40.

Warren Foster, who acted as a pacemaker with Sophie Warren, was officially 50th male, while Warren was 18th female.

Linda Hinchliffe closely followed in 19th female and Mike Padgham the 52nd male.
