Teenager pulled from his moped

A 16-year-old was pulled from his moped and as­saulted by man dur­ing a rob­bery in Scar­bor­ough. Po­lice are this week ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion re­gard­ing a in­ci­dent which took place on Wed­nes­day Fe­bru­ary 1. A 16-year-old boy was rid­ing his moped be­tween 7.15pm and 7.35pm along Man­ham Hill, East­field in the di­rec­tion of Cay­ton Low Road. He pulled into a car park near the Musham Bank round­about on the right hand side of the road, near to flats. The 16-year-old was then pulled from his moped and as­saulted by an un­known man who was wear­ing dark cloth­ing. The man con­tin­ued to as­sault the boy and then went on to steal the outer and in­ner lay­ers of the boys jacket. Po­lice are ap­peal­ing for in­for­ma­tion – call 101 for Graeme Boast or Andy Hall.
