Putting women centre stage at Stephen Joseph

Women rule the summer season at the Stephen Joseph Theatre. As well as a new play from Alan Ayckbourn called A Brief History of Women and a revival of The Rise and Fall of Little Voice – a coming of age story about a woman – there is Di and Viv and Rose. The award-winning piece is by actress and scriptwriter Amelia Bullmore and it will be directed by Lotte Wakeham, left of picture, who directed The World Goes Round at the theatre last year.
