Service for ex-president

A Service of Thanksgiving will be held at 1pm on Friday March 10, at Westborough Methodist Church for Albert Adamson, former chairman and president of the Scarborough and District Chamber of Commerce.

After service in the RAF and working as a commercial accountant with Tesseymans, the garage in Vernon Road, he set up Adamson Insurance.

He was a choir boy at St Paul’s Church in Scarborough and became a preacher, cricketer and took part in amateur dramatics. Donations in lieu of floral tributes to the Alzheimer’s Society. All welcome.
