Committee meeting

At the monthly Osgodby Committee Association meeting the chairman, Bryan Bolton, welcomed Moira Audsley, Phil King, Mike Holdsworth, Moira Grant and Shirley Holdsworth and apologies were received from Bryan Coomber and Brenda Martin. Minutes of the previous meeting were agreed and signed.

Phil King reported on the plaque to be fixed on the outside wall as a memorial to the late Audrey Wilson, who was a founder member. Bryan Bolton reported on the new rear door and it was agreed to go ahead and have a new one fitted.

Summer trip. Various venues were discussed and it was agreed to bring ideas to the next meeting.

Moira Grant is to re-arrange the inside notice board. New timers are to fitted to all radiators.

Shirley Holdsworth gave her secretary’s report and said that the centre had been booked by the borough council for the forthcoming elections, and Moira gave her treasurer’s report.

Moira Grant is the Osgodby representative for the Eastfield Library and she would be pleased to hear from anyone who would be willing to become a volunteer. Volunteers from March 2017 will mainly staff the library. Please email Moira on grantmoira@hotmail.com for more details.
