Methodist Church

The preacher today was the Rev John Staton. The organist was Doreen Lawson, vestry steward Bert Blower and the welcomer was Margaret Neave who also took the connection. Bible readings were given by Bert Blower who read from Leviticus and Amanda Clayton who read from Matthew’s gospel.

In his sermon the Rev Statton referred to the bible readings which set out the standards which we should try to reach to show our love for God. He went on to say that the power and strength that we need to do these things is given to us by the risen Christ.
