World Day of Prayer

There will be a service at Wreyfield Drive Methodist Church for the Women’s World Day of Prayer on Friday March 3, 10.30am, led by the Rev Emma Morgan. The mayor and mayoress, Cllr Simon Green and Mrs Valerie Green will also be in attendance.

The service is written by the Christian women of the Philippine­s and several Filipino ladies and a gentleman will be taking part dressed in national costume.

All welcome, refreshmen­ts to follow the service.

Free parking and the church is on the number 5 and 6 bus routes from town.

Northern Group Villages Services for Sunday: Cloughton, 10am, Holy Communion; Friday - Coffee Club 10am-11.30am; Hackness, 10am, morning worship; Ravenscar, 10.30am, celebratio­n of the Ecumenical Partnershi­p; Ash Wednesday March 1 - 10am at St Mark’s and 7.30pm at Hackness.

Healing service

On Sunday there is a prayer and healing service with Holy Communion in St Oswald’s Church, Filey, at 3pm. The service will be led by the Rev Liz Kitching. All welcome.
